Word War II Legacy

Referring to the books on World War – II, a report predicted that about 60 Million people died across the Europe & Asia. Military personals around 15 million & civilians around 45 million. Other than direct deaths to weapons & guns, most of the death toll was due to to slavery & starvation.

The side & after effects were felt across the globe & the war had been the most devastating conflict in the human history. Most of the death were accounted to Germany, Russia, Japan, Poland & Yugoslavia

Other than human deaths, Soviets and the Germans resulted in the total or partial destruction of 1,700 towns, 70,000 villages, and 6 million buildings, including 84,000 schools. The Soviet Union also lost 71 million farm animals, including 7 million horses.
