Another movie like Mumbai express from Kamal Hasan, Very disappointing movie from the director K.S. Ravikumar, there is no solid script, no moral, no comedy & no discipline in the whole movie “manmadan ambu”. Tamizhla sollanumna “padu kevalamaana movie” manmadan ambu!!!
I hate many things in the movie, Ambu(Trisha) a heroine character inside the movie falls in two side love with one time fan manmadan(madhavan) who finally questions her character before marriage and tries to follow parents warnings and suspects Ambu with external affair! Madan appoints Major R mannar(retired major Kamal) as detective and ask him to follow her on her European cruise tour! Kamal finds Trisha character very loyal to madans love, but madan disappointed as major did not find any problems/ extra affair with anyone, madan refuses to pay Major, who took the assignment to get money for paying his friend hospital bill.
Madan refuses to pay The money as assured, inturn major dramatically changes his character and starts telling rumours about Ambu, who finally fall in love with each other with no logic or ethics of love! oh no …. this is the tragedy of the movie, while madan becomes regular alcochol consumer, one can see second half of the movie with full of alcohol drinking scenes, as usual this director too has no courtesy to slide warning “Drinking alcohol is injurious to health”.
In the name of comedy, I guess the director has given the original producers of the movie a comedy role! This is one more tragedy and torturing comedy roles! Sangeetha also adds little fire to the comedy scenes alongwith her son, literally using the young son/boy to think as an adult and such scenes are very disturbing to the mother nature!
This is a movie not to be seen by children, youth, Kamal fans, K.S.Ravikumar fans. Madhavan does His acting good, but I feel very sorry for him because whole through the Movie he has been shown with Alcohol bottle. Very sad :) . I took my wife to to the movie! and it was further a sad affair between the many affairs within the movie! Further, there are many more bad affairs, connections, gossips & joints in this movie. seems to be annoying general audience! ha. ha.. finally worth of the movie is that, Director tries to show us a huge cruise ship like one never seen it before (Titanic) and takes to Rome, Barcelona and France.
For which spending 3 hours is not at all worth! I do hope you won’t curse me for disclosing the story here, otherwise you too will curse the director, curse Kamalahasan and Madhavan for accepting such roles!

There is one gud thing. Kamal Hassan’s tamil pronounciation. We have forgotten how actually tamil should be pronounced with its sweetness. he reminded me of our pronounciation. I find this a positive one in this movie.
yes, kamal own song is indeed good & his intro scene was too good…..but somehow overall movie is a confusing product.

I think this resemles how Kamal is able to have a "live in" relation with Gautami..
yeah mate, its was really disappointment thing from a big actor like kamal hasan…

Being a web content editor and developer, I was taken aback when I navigated to your blog here and found that you cannot write nothing other than sheer bullshit! Mr. Devarajan, first of all take a look at what you have written – it is full of grammatical errors!
And secondly, I think I need to remind you about the fact that Kamalhassan is a universal hero and chooses only those movies which have some substance. And with Manmadhan Ambu, he has NOT turned down his audience at all! Maybe you are against Kamalhassan and have opened up this unhealthy criticism’s blog just to increase your visibility in the Internet!
Talking about your citation of bad script and poor comedy, Mr. Devarajan, I think you should watch the movie once again and then comment about it.
Spending Rs 50 crores for a single movie is not a joke and I think, in fact, believe that the three hours I spent watching Manmadhan Ambu was truly worth every single penny!
So Mr. Devarajan, don’t waste time by opening up such crap blogs for hate comments and unhealthy criticisms, because it won’t fetch you anything!
My piece of advise for you: Buy a good English grammar book and work on your grammar and vocabulary, and then come to the internet world, coz not everyone is dumb, biased and fool like you!

2)Don’t tell me about Kamalhasan. Me too his fan..but it doesn’t mean that I shall not critic. I wont hesitate to say…Manmadhan Ambu is a movie which teaches what is unethical.
