There is an unique relation between the issues of Muslims in Kashmir and Tamils in Sri Lanka, that both issues are not anymore in control of India. To explain this in systematic way, I am
listing out the issues in comparison manner.
1) Once dominated Kashmiri Hindus were either fled out of state or were forced to thrown out of state. Whereas in Srilanka the educated, talented Tamils mostly youths have fled out of country and settled as diaspora may be had problem or neither……
2) India the democratic country had/having a role to play, but missing desperately
3) In both cases, there is a evidance of Community issue, in first case it is Hindu and Muslim, in the second case it is the north and the south. The Arya and Dravidian(Aryans were not bothered about the Tamils of Sri Lanka who were inherited from India, also issue of Buddism vs Hinduism
4) In both cases, The rulers of top and bottom states of India have full credentials and playing their politics.
5) In both “freedom and separatism” movements have grown and the defense forces are trying to extinguish against those in the name controlling terrorism.
6) In both cases, The central government failing to track and monitor what is happening, inf act no clue.. whatsoever, as the country is standing in furnace heat below and above. Beside many civilians are being killed and tortured.
7) Violation of human rights issues are alarming, well precedented by the powered nations, United Nations. who are jsut trying to add fuel in both the cases, may be as much as help behind the back doors, I am suspicious about international community having objective of destroying the harmony of India or throwing away India or keep the epicentre of world news at India than Iran, Iraq or Palestine…where nothing is working out for Powered nations.
8) Above differences are not just a comparison, rather the hottest issues the central government should think and should know which is the best way to handle it?
Through this post, I would like to recall my Kashmir experience….12 years back when I visited the cities Poonch and Doda in Kashmir on a official visit, it was a strange experience. In fact I had experienced many security checks every few kilometers were army forces have asked me to show my Identity cards and documents why I am traveling inside Kashmir! Further I had a experience of Terrorists storming the Surankot Bus stand at 4.00PM where my bus was in stop. 🙁 With intelligence information, army had took the complete control of the Bus stand for an hour, it was like a cinema experience. Since then getting out of Kashmir was the first thing in mind.
During those visit I have asked few Muslims! Are you satisfied with present political & constitutional powers? In fact they have not told me a stubborn reply. Their answer was a dilemma! reason…..being a Muslim by heart they wanted to get into Pakistan control, but they also feel good about Indian democracy but somehow India is ignoring them instead using military power unwantedly.
Well, as of today the issue of SL is no more a concern to India, because Tamils of Indian origin in SL have nothing to do with India!! Mostly because the only head which was Prabakaran, Rajiv Gandhi killer is now killed…so naturally nothing worrying about Tamils are least concerned about the minorities or least importance of SL as India military base!
In case of the boiling Kashmir too, India has nothing to do…. As it is failing in two ways.
At first, India is not making any impression among Kashmiris that need of India controlling the complete borders of Kashmir/India is very essential and it is in the good interest of Kashmiris!
Secondly Kashmir separatists and pakistan loyal are now getting iron and vitamin M feed from across international network and trying to create chaos among the state, virtually take the state into unrest! Such objectives of international network is winning in Kashmir now, unrest is visible, leading to more military power against Civilians and creating haste like situation among the Indian citizens that is Kashmiris and others.
So where the solution lies?…..as a thinker I just presume, that the best way to handle the situation is…. India should go beyond the Indian Borders and fight the Pakistan supported terrorism to stop, instead of working within India borders and fighting with own civilians. Be aggressive to turn the issue into bigger one and let the internal Borders and Indian civilians be in peace!.
